December 2011
Volvo Northern Counties E364 NEG has passedto Wealden PSV.
Delivered on 30th December is a new Mercedes Tourisimo C49FT registered CR12 RAM. It is in store until March 1st. Coach has a few unique features as it was build for Mercedes 125th. Anniversary.
Ordered for March delivery is JG12 RAM a Volvo B9R with a facelift Plaxton Panther 12.8 metre C53FT body.
Our 1967 Bedford VAM Duple Viceroy is still undergoing refurbishment, retrimmimed seats ready to be fitted when the new floor lino is down.

Mercedes Alexander Sprint 07 reverted to old registration of N191 LPN (carried N191 LTN until VOSA noticed!) No. 27 reverted to N301XRP and is in store as not required at the moment. No 31 is now back to M606 MTV. No. 12Volvo Northern Counties re-body has reverted to E364 NEG and is stored awaiting disposa. Double Decker Volvo 28 is now in our new bus colour.
A 33 seat Mercedes Esker Cimo is acquired fron T & T Contracts, Liverpool.(Only as a agent as vehicle re-prossesed from and Irish operator.) Registered PE53 XMJ first registered 20/02/2007, just six days short of an 07 plate!
Purchased from Beestons of Ipswitch ia a Volvo B10B with a Wright Endurance B53F body.

Dart No. 21 reverted to original registration, J505 GCD and No. 11 from PDY42 to J542 GCD. 542 has been disposed of to Bartletts Dismantlers of Rock Lane Hastings and broken up. (Bit sad really as only problems were cracked windscreens and worn wiper linkages, but more cost efficient to replace it with the R reg. Mk 2 Dart). The new Dart is now number 11.

Berkhof 09, CR06 EDY was put into livery for "Just Go Holidays". A Dennis Dart with Plaxton Pointer B43F body purchased from Ensign, ex Stagecoach Scotland, is registered R710 YWC. It is painted in our revised bus colour.
NOVEMBER 2010
Number 24 Mercedes Mini bus finally taken away for scrap by Saunters of Hastings.
A bedford TK chassis cab aquired for its 214 cubic inch petrol engine which is being fitted to Bedford WLB Duple in place of its original engine which has a cracked engine block. The remains of the TK were also taken away by Saunters.
A set of bus seats from a 1950 Leyland Tiger Duple,originally operated by Alexander in Scotland, have been sorced for 20 of them to be fitted to the other Bedford WLB, NG 2414. Another 214 petrol engine is on the way for this bus as it also has a cracked block which was unsuccessfully repaired.
Number 36 had its registration number removed and sold,via Wealden PSV Sales, to Fowlers of Holbeach Drove.
AUGUST 2010
Aquired from Tellings (Ariva) via Wealden PSV Sales, YN55 WSW, a Plaxton Panther C49F bodied Volvo B12B. Vehicle is operater in white with Rambler names in green.

Mercedes Minibus number 24 has reverted to its original registration number, HDY 565, and has been scrapped.
1991 Volvo B10M Van Hool number 32 (H553 WGH) has been sold to Brentons of Blackheath, London.

Delivered 21st. january a September 2001 registered Volvo B10M Plaxton Paragon 53 seater, YN51 WGY, ex Arriva and last used in Manchester Airport. A second vehicle of the same specification, YN51 WGZ, has arrived. Last used by Classic, Anfield Plain, on service work between Liverpool & Manchester. Numbered 40 & 41, the latter is to be retrimed and both upseater to C57F.

Double decker Leyland Olympian number 28 has reverted to its old registration and been sold to Ensign Bus the dealer.
a replacement is Volvo Olympian Alexander from Ensign Buses operation fleet. Registered originally in September 1998 to Metroline, its last use was on rail replacement work.
The bus conforms to LEZ requirements and has an RPC. It is fitted with a tachograph and has now been fitted with seatbelts. It will run for a while in Ensign blue livery but the intention is to paint it Black, Green and Cream and use it for Private Hire as well as service work.

Bedford Plaxton Supreme C57F, out of use for 12 months or more, has had its number changed to HWV 260X and has gone to a preservationist in Horsemonden.
JULY 2009
Two B10M Premier "Interurbans"have been purchased fron wealden PSV. N617 NPU of 1996 and P330 RVG of 1997 vintage. Both have been retrimed, up seated to C57F and painted all over cream with dark Green wheels. Numbered 20 & 26 the have replaced the previous 20 & 26 which have gone in exchange to Wealden.
20, F709 WGS, a Duple bodied B10M, has since passed to Andrew Fowler in Holebeach.
MAY 2009
A Mercedes Sprinter with a 16 seater Optare Scirocco body arrived in May. Intended mainly for contract work, it has since found sufficient private hire work to warrant it's retention without relying on the contract runs. Re registered from FY02 WHA to KDY 814.

Two Volvo coaches have been purchased, Plaxton Paragon bodied B10M YR52 MEU is being converted to 53 seat configeration, from 49 with a toilet, and will be reregistered to GDY 500X prior to use.
The second Volvo is former Browns of Scotland SK07 FUW, a VanHool bodied B12B 49 seat executive. This will carry the registration LR07 RAM upon entering service.
Restoration of Bedford CMG 30 is progressing well with the vehicle now fully painted in two tone green.

Delivered on Thursday 6th November 2008 was the Bedford WLB pictured left and below, it has coachwork by Duple, seats 20 and has a rear door.
It was acquired from Taylors of Tintinhull having spent a number of years stored undercover. Some restoration is required but the coach is still in remarkably good condition.
CMG 30 was new to Garner of Ealing in June 1935, it has also been registered JTA 608 during its life.
Further pictures and updates on the progress of restoration will be posted here when available.

At present the engine is missing from the bus bodied version for a rebuild.

Volvo B9R demonstrator
Sunsundegui bodied Volvo B9R demonstrator FJ57 SKD arrived for one weeks loan on Thursday 6th November. It has been given temporary fleetnumber 13 and will be used on a variety of private hire work during its stay.

Volvo B10M, VanHool, 20 KDY 814 has been reregistered H973 KDY and been sold to Hodges Coaches, Sandhurst.
GDY 500X is still currently stored but has been reregistered HWV 260X.
Duple 300 bus bodied Volvo F709 WCS has been renumbered 20.
April 2008
H533 WGH has been placed back into service and renumbered 32, the existing 32, GDY 500X has now been withdrawn and is currently stored.
The new Volvo 9700, CR08 RAM took part in the 54th Brighton Coach Rally on the 19th and 20th April.

BDY 389 has gone to Ashford for painting into fleet colours.
Grand UK vinyls have been applied to JG08 RAM and it has been given fleet number 22.
H533 WGH is currently out of service.

CR08 RAM is our second luxurious Volvo 9700 Prestige Plus to be delivered within a year.
Delivered on the 28th March was 38, CR08 RAM a Volvo 9700 Prestige Plus. It has had fleetnames and the stripes applied and enters service on Sunday 6th April.

Due for delivery imminently is a second Volvo 9700 Prestige Plus similar to that delivered last year.
GX02 AED, fleet number 05 has returned from painting and is now in green, cream and black fleet livery.
GX02 AEE has had its Grand UK vinyls removed pending delivery of a new coach for this contract. It has been re-registered BDY 389 and is still numbered 03.
Both Plaxton Verde bodied Volvo B10Bs entered service early this month, they were numbered 31 M606 UTV and 33 M607 UTV and have subsequently been re-registered RDY 155 and UDY 910 respectively.
Duple 300 bus bodied Volvo B10M UDY 910 has reverted to its original F709 WCS and is currently being retained.

JG08 RAM, our new Volvo coach for Grand UK coach holidays.
A white Plaxton Panther C49Ft bodied Volvo B12B was collected from Volvos on the 20th February. It has been registered JG08 RAM and will have Grand UK vinyls applied prior to entering service.

Berkhof Axial bodied Volvo B12M, 31 DDY 557 has been sold to R and D Travel t/a Formby Coaches from Formby, Merseyside. Prior to sale it reverted to its original CA52 LAO.
Plaxton Panther bodied Volvo 05, GX02 AED has been converted to a 53 seat coach with its toilet facilities removed. It is currently being painted in to fleet livery.
The Tesco store in Hastings is closing to be rebuilt and we will be operating the free bus services to the Bexhill store, in addition a shoppers shuttle will operate hourly from 10 o'clock in the morning from Hastings store to Bexhill store.
VanHool bodied Volvo, fleet number 22 BDY 389 has reverted to its original H533 WGH registration.

Two Plaxton Verde bodied Volvo B10B 51 seat buses have been purchased, laterly operated by Gemini Travel of Swansea, they were new to Nottingham City Transport as M606/607 UTV. They are to be painted into green and cream bus fleet livery prior to being operated.
